East Jakarta Tamhut Increases Security and Facilities at Mahoni Park

East Jakarta City Park and Forestry (Tamhut) Sub-agency will enhance the security and facilities at Mahoni Park, Jalan Raya Kelapa Dua Wetan, RW 09, Kelapa Dua Wetan Urban Village, Ciracas Sub-district.

East Jakarta Tamhut Sub-agency Head, Dwi Ponangsera, said that two additional security personnel will be deployed to ensure the safety and comfort of visitors, as well as to minimize potential for criminal activities in the park area.

"We are also coordinating with Satpol PP and Garnisun to optimize security measures. In addition, l ighting in Mahoni Park will be improved by installing two new spotlight lamps," he stated, Friday (4/11).

He explained, 20 green troops were also deployed today to prune overgrown trees in Mahoni Park.

"Ten trees will be pruned, including catappa, palm oil, green coconut, watery rose apple, and mango trees," he asserted.

He added that Mahoni park will be also equipped with CCTV cameras to enhance safety and facilitate monitoring.

"I encourage people to engage in positive activities in the park. Let's keep the park clean and safe for everyone to enjoy," he expressed.

East Jakarta Tamhut Sub-agency's Park Section Head, Yanti Rossana added that Mahoni Park is open every day from 6 AM to 6 PM. However, the park uses an open-concept design.

"We will further optimize the security durinng the night by adding more personnel," she conveyed.

Ciracas Sub-district Head, Yus Wil Rasyid mentioned that Satpol PP and Community Early Warning Forum (FKDM) personnel will be also deployed to help with monitoring.

"For every park that is open to the public, we will strengthen security with involvement of Satpol PP, FKDM, and support from Garnisun," he said.

On the other hand, Kelapa Dua Wetan Urban Village's RW 09 Head, Usman Effendy mentioned that his side will intensify the neighborhood security system (Siskamling) to assist with security monitoring in the park area.

"We will work hand-in-hand with government to ensure that our environment remains safe and conducive," he stated..
